This year’s World Food Day (16 October) theme is healthy food and nutrition. To this end, renowned Austrian and Hungarian experts will present the greatest challenges of our times in this realm and show solutions for the future.
Admission for the 8 October event is free and open to the public and media. The language of the event is English.

About World Food Day:
Each year on 16 October, countries commemorate the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on World Food Day. Events across the world promote awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and other forms of malnutrition and for the need to ensure food security and healthy diets for all. World Food Day is also an important opportunity to send a strong message to the public: We can end hunger and all forms of malnutrition in this lifetime and become the Zero Hunger Generation, but everyone needs to work together to achieve this goal.
